Welcome to DUSMAK LTD. These Terms & Conditions explain the basis on which we provide construction, painting, decorating, renovation, maintenance and property improvement services, together with the supply of construction-related materials and products.
By requesting a quotation, booking our services, purchasing products, or using our website, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use our website or engage our services.

Quotations & Estimates
All quotations provided by DUSMAK LTD are supplied without obligation and remain valid for 30 days, unless otherwise stated.
Quotations are prepared using the information available at the time of inspection or consultation. If additional work becomes necessary because of hidden defects, structural issues, customer requests or changes to the agreed specification, revised costs may apply.
No quotation shall become legally binding until it has been accepted by both parties.
Pricing
Unless otherwise stated, all prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable.
Delivery charges, waste disposal costs, parking charges, equipment hire and any specialist materials will be identified separately where applicable.
DUSMAK LTD reserves the right to correct pricing errors or amend prices before a contract has been accepted.
Where VAT rates change before goods or services are supplied, the applicable rate at the date of supply will apply.
Payment Terms
Payment terms will be confirmed within your quotation or invoice.
Depending on the nature of the project, DUSMAK LTD may require:
An advance deposit before work begins.
Stage payments for larger projects.
Final payment immediately following completion unless otherwise agreed.
Late payments may incur interest at 2% above the Bank of England Base Rate, calculated daily until the outstanding balance has been paid.
Ownership of supplied materials remains with DUSMAK LTD until payment has been received in full.
Project Schedule
Estimated commencement and completion dates are provided in good faith and are intended as guidance only.
Completion times may change due to:
Severe weather conditions
Delayed material deliveries
Customer-requested variations
Hidden structural defects
Restricted site access
Utility interruptions
Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
Where delays occur, we will keep you informed and make every reasonable effort to complete the project as soon as practicable.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the work area is safe, accessible and ready before work begins.
Customers agree to:
Provide reasonable access to the property.
Ensure water and electricity are available where required.
Remove valuable or fragile items from the working area.
Obtain any planning permission, landlord approval or statutory consent required before work begins.
Inform DUSMAK LTD of any known hazards, asbestos or structural concerns.
Any delay caused by restricted access or failure to meet these responsibilities may result in additional charges.
Materials
Where materials are supplied by DUSMAK LTD, we aim to use products that meet recognised industry standards.
If specified materials become unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute them with products of comparable quality and performance after consulting the customer wherever reasonably possible.
Minor differences in colour, texture or finish may occur due to manufacturing variations and shall not be considered defects.
Variations
Any work requested by the customer that falls outside the original quotation shall be treated as additional work.
Where practical, a revised quotation or written confirmation will be provided before the additional work begins.
Additional work may affect both the project cost and completion date.
Workmanship Guarantee
DUSMAK LTD is committed to delivering construction and painting services to a high professional standard. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all workmanship carried out by our team is covered by a 12-month workmanship guarantee from the date the project is completed.
This guarantee applies only to defects resulting directly from our workmanship. It does not cover issues arising from normal wear and tear, structural movement, accidental damage, water ingress, misuse, inadequate maintenance, or work carried out by third parties after project completion.
Where a genuine workmanship defect is identified during the guarantee period, DUSMAK LTD will inspect the issue and, where appropriate, carry out remedial work at no additional labour cost.
Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel a confirmed booking by notifying DUSMAK LTD in writing before work commences.
Where work has already started or materials have been purchased specifically for the project, we reserve the right to charge for completed work, ordered materials, equipment hire and any reasonable costs incurred before cancellation.
Any deposit paid may be retained, in whole or in part, to cover expenses already incurred.
Should DUSMAK LTD be unable to proceed with the agreed works due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we will inform the customer as soon as reasonably practicable and refund any payments received for work that has not been completed.
Returns & Refunds
Where DUSMAK LTD supplies products or construction materials, customers have statutory rights under applicable UK consumer legislation.
If goods are delivered damaged, faulty or not as described, customers should notify us promptly and provide supporting photographs where possible.
Eligible products may be repaired, replaced or refunded following inspection and confirmation of the reported issue.
Returns must be authorised by DUSMAK LTD before goods are sent back. Unless the return relates to faulty goods or an error on our part, customers are responsible for arranging and paying for return delivery.
Refunds approved by DUSMAK LTD will normally be processed using the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or satisfactory evidence that they have been returned.
Health & Safety
Health and safety is fundamental to every project undertaken by DUSMAK LTD.
Our employees and subcontractors work in accordance with relevant UK health and safety legislation and recognised industry standards.
Customers are expected to provide a safe working environment and ensure reasonable access to the property throughout the duration of the project.
Children, pets and unauthorised persons should be kept away from active work areas to reduce the risk of accidents or injury.
Where site conditions present an immediate risk to health or safety, DUSMAK LTD reserves the right to suspend work until the issue has been resolved.
Limitation of Liability
DUSMAK LTD accepts responsibility only for work carried out directly by our employees or authorised subcontractors.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect, consequential or financial losses, including loss of business, loss of income or project delays arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing within these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury resulting from our negligence where such liability cannot legally be excluded.
Force Majeure
Neither party shall be considered in breach of these Terms where performance is prevented or delayed by circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to, severe weather, flooding, fire, industrial action, transport disruption, shortages of labour or materials, government restrictions, pandemics, utility failures or any other unforeseen event affecting the completion of the works.
Where a Force Majeure event occurs, DUSMAK LTD will take reasonable steps to minimise delays and keep the customer informed throughout the affected period.
Complaints
DUSMAK LTD aims to provide a high standard of workmanship and customer service. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our products or services, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible so that we have the opportunity to investigate and resolve the matter.
Complaints should include your name, project or invoice reference, property address (where applicable) and a clear description of the issue.
Our team will acknowledge your complaint, review the information provided and respond within a reasonable timeframe with the appropriate resolution.
If a site inspection is necessary, a mutually convenient appointment will be arranged.
Privacy
DUSMAK LTD respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.
Any personal data collected through our website, quotation requests, service enquiries or project administration will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.
Your information will be used only for legitimate business purposes, including preparing quotations, managing projects, processing payments, responding to enquiries and complying with our legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties. Personal data will only be shared where necessary to provide our services or where disclosure is required by law.
